The Session
The best images are those that capture YOU, authentically. Rather than stiff, posed portraits, you can expect to spend the session playing, exploring and resting with your family. Though the goal of the session is to capture beautiful, genuine images, it's important to me that you come away from the session having thoroughly enjoyed the experience together as a family.
On booking your session, I will work closely with you to help you choose a location that works best for you and explore any creative ideas you have in mind. Styling is an important aspect of your session, it adds a dynamic element that helps each person to shine and brings a cohesive look to your session. Assistance with sourcing and selecting the right outfits for each family member is included in your session fee.

A non-refundable deposit of $150 and signed contract are required to book your session
TRAVEL FEES
Travel within 20km of Napanee, ON is included in your session. Thereafter a fee of $1.50/km applies
WHERE ARE YOU LOCATED?
I'm based in beautiful Napanee, Ontario, Canada
WHEN ARE MY SESSION FEES DUE?
A non-refundable deposit of $150 is due to reserve your session. The balance of your session fees are due on the day of your session.
WHEN WILL WE RECEIVE OUR PHOTOS?
You will receive a link to your private, soft-proof gallery within 2 weeks of your session, please allow 2-3 weeks for final editing, once you have selected your chosen images.
CAN I WAIT UNTIL AFTER I'VE SEEN MY PHOTOS TO UPGRADE TO THE FULL GALLERY?
Yes! You will have 2 months to access your online gallery and to select your images for download. If you decide to upgrade at any point, just let me know and I will invoice you accordingly.
CAN I PURCHASE PRINTS AND PRODUCTS?
Yes! The print-shop is up and running and directly linked to your gallery.
MAY I INVITE MY EXTENDED FAMILY TO JOIN A FAMILY SESSION?
Family, Maternity and Newborn sessions are for immediate family members of up to 6 people. Extended family are welcome to join in for an additional fee of $10 per person.
WHAT SHOULD I WEAR TO THE SESSION?
On booking, I will work with you to source and select outfits for your family that compliment each other and bring a cohesive look to your session!
WHEN IS THE BEST TIME TO SCHEDULE A MATERNITY SESSION?
Between 28-34 weeks is ideal for showing off your baby bump!
WHEN IS THE BEST TIME TO SCHEDULE A NEWBORN SESSION?
Newborn Sessions are best scheduled within the first 10-14 days, to capture babe's sweet little details.
MAY I BRING MY PET TO THE SESSION?
Though I love animals, pets are welcome on a case-by-case basis. Please let me know that this is something that you're interested in when you enquire.
WILL MY SESSION BE CANCELED IF IT'S RAINING ON THE DAY?
If it is forecast to rain on your scheduled session day, I will keep an eye on the weather and confirm 2-hours before your session if rescheduling is needed.
CAN I HAVE AN OUTDOOR SHOOT DURING WINTER?
Yes! Winter in Kingston is absolutely gorgeous. If it looks like it will be uncomfortably cold on the day, I will work with you to plan for portions of your session to be indoors, so that you are still able to enjoy your session in the snow!
